I notice that both Seagate and Western have 2TB internal hard drives out. Has anyone here used these drives, or another brand with the same amount of storage capacity? How stable is the 2TB drive you use, if applicable?2TB internal hard drives: question?

I tried the western digital 2TB green, I wouldn't suggest buying it....it's 5200 RPM and very slow

The 2TB drives are generally fast. They use dense 500GB platters, meaning they are faster than lower capacity drives. Check out this review: http://pcper.com/article.php?aid=775

Check out this review: http://pcper.com/article.php?aid=775[/QUOTE]Wow. Thanks for the link NoName. That's a great review. It seems even the 2TB (4-ply) versions are a little faster at copying and creating files than my boot drive, which is a Velociraptor. The 1TB drives, however, are the fastest at file copying and creation. Looks like I'm going to budget in a new hard drive when I can. :)Thanks for all the comments, btw.
