Which CPU is better????? ?

Intel?Celeron?Dual-Core Processor T1600, 1.66 GHz ,orAMD Sempron%26trade; Processor SI-42 2.1 GHz,I'm buying a laptop for a friend and both laptops are similarly priced so wondered which CPU is best? ThanksWhich CPU is better????? ?
I would go for the Sempron.

I have a 2.0 Ghz AMD athlon 64 single core and my friend that i do lan gaming with has an intel dual core 1.6. My laptop is far faster than his in games and just starting up and such. So i think that the AMD is betterWhich CPU is better????? ?

The t1600 would be the faster one. You can sorta of think of the Sempron as a very efficient chip, but in turn it isn't that powerful.
