psu killed my mobo..?

ok so my psu died a couple of days ago and today i bought a coolermaster 750W extreme power but i plugged it in and my pc still wont turn on does this mean my old psu fried my mobo when it died?psu killed my mobo..?
how do you know it wasn't the motherboard that died and not the PSUpsu killed my mobo..?

Ha ha did you make sure the power supply switch is on?

HAHAHha hey man thnx i forgot about that:P it worked now my old psuy didnt have that switch and i didnt not ice it on this one until now:P
