Any suggestions would be much appreciated!Yet another PSU ampage question
It'll be close. I can't give you a straight answer. I wouldn't go for it with a PSU you like that myself.Yet another PSU ampage question
any newer card will be bottlenecked by the processor. first are you sure you can use pci-e? and not agp? second. 22amps is pretty low try the low power version of the 9600gt if you can
Better safe than sorry I guess! Would you recommend a 9500gt in that respect then, or am I still punching a mile above my head? Thanks for the reply!
EDIT: ^ It is defo pcie, and my psu does have a 6pin pcie connector too

Bottlenecking depends on the game your playing. A pentium 4 will even operate a gtx 295 fine. But it comes to the game, what cpu, amount ram it would like to run it the way its suppose too. Ive seen people pair up a P4 with 8800GT/9800GT's and max out games that dont need a dual core cpu as min. requirement. A 9600gso or 9600gt with a 500w psu will be a good upgrade.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121320 9600GSO $55 ($35AR*)http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171031 -500w psu $40

get a 4670 it will run fine on that psu and it's a very good card for the price
