Newegg and the manufactuerers websites are becoming very frustrating.I cant find what voltage memory this motherboard takes to save my life.Heres the motherboard -http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813188054All it says is DDR 1600+ supported.....does that mean DDR3 1600 will work in it? Or does the + mean I need higher than 1600.and will someone tell me what voltage.ive never had such a difficult time finding motherboard requirments in my life.Ive got my entire build in the shopping cart at newegg and the one thing i cant find is the right memory.eVGA P55 LE Motherboard Memory voltage - Help
The voltage will depend on what memory you get. If you use this ram you will set it at 1.65V where as this set with lower latency will require 1.85-1.9V.eVGA P55 LE Motherboard Memory voltage - Help
I would get memory that requires 1.65v or less. All the RAM on newegg that is designed for the P55 platform is rated for 1.65v. The DDR3 1600+ means that the board will support that memory and higher rated memory.
