Can't connect my PC to Xbox 360 as Extender

I have followed all the instructions on www.xbox.com/pcsetup and from this link and my computer still will not connect to my 360. I have checked the firewall is inactive, they are on the same network and even when placing the pC right next to the Xbox in order to establish a strong signal, it still won't connect, and just keeps on saying an error occurred when trying to connect.What could be the cause of this?Can't connect my PC to Xbox 360 as Extender

I might try that. Is it any easier to make an extender?

It takes about 2 minutes to set up so probably.
I use tversity as well, it's amazing.
