Crysis on my computer

So the stickied thread is really ignored, so I'm not going to post there.I tried canyourunit.com but that is fail because my old computer running a 9500GT passed the recommended settings and obviously it can't run the game well at all.So at what settings and frame rate do you think I could play Crysis at with my computer? Thanks!!Crysis on my computer
high perhaps highest on an unnatural resolution.Crysis on my computer
Probably medium, high starts getting way too shader intensive for a 9500GT.
Alright, here's the trick. Set everything to very high (except maybe physics and audio), and disable antialiasing. When set to very high, the game will add ''edge AA.'' This method isn't quite as good, but I rarely noticed the difference. The thing that I did notice though, was that my framerates skyrocketed compared to when I had regular antialiasing enabled. That should be perfect for your Phenom II and 4870. I hope this helps ;)
high perhaps highest on an unnatural resolution.
Hmm.. but with what frame rate? I would like to play at the native resolution of 1680X1050, and with an FPS ranging from 25-50. Would that be possible with medium/high settings?

Honestly, your going to get nowhere near highest on a 9500GT, I don't know what unnatural resolution he was talking about, maybe 320x240 pffft.... Medium with maybe a few settings on high, On medium it'll definitely be playable.

My REAL specs are in my sig :P.

Oh okay, I guess I missed that part, woops. Well, with a 1GB 4870 you're looking at Very High with a few settings turned down to high, and definitely decent framerates at just all High at any resolution.

You may have to knock a couple of the setttings from Very high down to high, but that's it.
OK thanks again guys

i suggest the CCC mod if youre running it at 1680x1050. itll look as good as very high but run a lot better. my hd4890 averages about 30fps with the CCC lvl5 at that res no AA.

he said his OLD pc had a 9500gt..

to the topic guy:a mixture of high and very high no AA depending on res..

Please excuse me for not completely reading the thread, as I will forgive you for not reading the entire thread either. I already addressed that I was mistaken and have offered an appropriate response if you would go back and read through it.
