Help with upgrade

HiI have a friend who wants to upgrade her PC specifically for faster games. She hasn't got a lot of cash. Her specs at the moment are listed below:Intel Pentium D 2160Geforce 8500GT1GB DDRII 400I recommended she get another 1GB of RAM, a Core2Duo E7200(if you can still get that one) and a 9600GT. What do you guys think? Will the CPU bottleneck the 9600GT perhaps? Thanks in advanceHelp with upgrade

Another 1GB of RAM would be good. The Pentium E2160 is a really nice CPU if you overclock it, seem to recall it going up to 3Ghz.Help with upgrade
She doesn't know too much about overclocking, neither do I. The E7200 will still be faster than an overclocked 2160 right?
Yeah, it should be somewhat faster, but I think you'd just be better off overclocking that e2160. Getting it to 3.0 ghz looks to be very common, with a few surpassing it, even. Just get an aftermarket cpu cooler, and overclock it. It's cheaper than getting an entirely new processor. As for the other two items, an extra gig would help in memory, and the video card should be a good little boost to the system graphically-wise.
