Quality Or Quantity? (Monitors) *POLL*

Just wondering what would look better in your opinion, a higher resolution monitor or one thats generally better quality?Quality Or Quantity? (Monitors) *POLL*
I went with cheaper 24in monitors, and I love em :) I have three s2409w dell monitors, they are cheap, TN panels, but w/e, they look great to me :D (280$ now for one)Quality Or Quantity? (Monitors) *POLL*
Im confused, what makes the better resolution monitor cheaper? Explain please?
An expensive 1680x1050 most definitely. 1680x1050 is the perfect resolution for gaming and with a 1920x1200 you will always need to have a powerful computer to play games at your native resolution.
Just because something is expensive doesn't mean it's good.

Well within a certain monitor size you will have both cheap and expensive models from different manufacturers.

less ergonomic options, no usb ports, crappier interface, crappier buttons, no speakers, less ports, no wall-mount option, no option to sit it on its side, unstable stand.

stuff like that
Better quality for sure.

I'ld go with a cheaper 24'' personally. Oh and a cheap 24'' is much cheaper than an expensive 22'', not talking about premium TN panels here i mean proper IPS or PVA ones.

The more expensive ones have better contrast, brightness, colour accuracy and more post processing effects. The really high end monitors use different methods of controlling the liquid crystal which results in more accurate colours than the cheap panels can achieve.
noisy ventilation
Wait... what????

Last time i looked all monitors have passive cooling....
Between the 2 I would go with the more expensive..actually I would holdout for a 8-bit 24''.
I went with the cheaper larger one and I haven't had any problems
I go with cheaper ones, the likely hood is it will last longer then you will keep it anyways.

Hmm explain MORE please?
Quality can go for a very long way. Especially with a IPS panel.
I'd go with the 1680 x 1050 for quality and also better performance on games
Get a Vizio TV and sit back. Use that as a monitor instead, you can thank me later   Unless of course your those that sits 2 inches away from monitor than just get yourself a nice samsung.
