Hey guys,

Motherboard: MSI DKA790GX http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130191R%26Tpk=MSI%20DKA790GX

RAM: Kingston HyperX 4GB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820104020

Videocard: HIS Radeon 4870 512MB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161268%26Tpk=HIS%20Radeon%204870%20512MB

Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar 500 Black http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136320%26Tpk=Western%20Digital%20Caviar%20500%20Black

Any recommendations on changing anything would be appreciated!

Thanks! :)$700 rig
If you are low on money why not just get the Antec 300, it's actually a really good case for the price. You may be able to get a better processor with that in mind.$700 rig
Seagate 1TB 7200.12 - $90
Thanks. :)

@Luminouslight

Do you have a specific processor you would recommend?
Hi Looks like you will have to choose another DVD burner. That itemhas been deactivated. I would go with an AM3 motherboard.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128392And DDR 3 Ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231180That should run sweetly and you can upgrade to a Quad core in the future if you want. Also Luminous has a good idea about the case. Antec 300 Illusion model or anothergood one is the CoolerMaster CM690.
Thanks. :) Do you have a specific processor you would recommend?
With the additional $60 ($45 off the base price, and $15 shipping..) If you swap the motherboard and get one of these 2 combos you can still fit it within budget.http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.258818http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.250093
How do you like this?

Actually the Antec 300 won't fit the larger video cards very well. I'd go with this case instead http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119161

It fits my 4890 with plenty of room to spare :? .
Can anyone recommend a different videocard? Many of the comments on the card I chose say the fan melts in around 3 months..
Video Card - GIGABYTE GV-N275UD-896I GeForce GTX 275 896MB - $225; $220

Its probably gonna be better, but retain value worse 'cause new ATI Technology's coming out soon.
