Is there anything I shud be checking when i'm looking for a motherboard, anything really important? Other than the socket. If anybodys wondering, i'm actually looking for a motherboard for i5 750, so if you know any good deals please post it up, thanks in advance.About Motherboards...
RAM ports, RAM speed compatibility and defaults. SLI or/and Crossfire capability. PCI slots, PCI-E slots. There's a deal to take into consideration otherwise you may regret it later.About Motherboards...
I'm not sure about SLI; I think EVGA is the only company making 'em with SLI.
well i'm not plannin on multi-gpu, ram %26 pci slots i've taken into consideration..............is there anything else important i'm forgeting to check?
well you should also decide if you want an SLI or Crossfire motherboard. All of them are using the new P55 chip set so no choice there.Read bios reviews and how easy they are to overclock if you are planning to do that.number of DDr3 memory slots and the number of pci-e slots. After that it really just comes down to looks
aite cool thanks
