BIG need of help! *PC/PS3 owners especially welcomed*

I am a ps3/pc owner. I am sure you PS3 owners would know what i am talking about when i mention Uncharted 2. Well i can get that game a driving force gt or i could get the deal below. Which deal should i go for since both have pros and cons?-------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------Okay basically i own a cough decent cough gaming pc which i have been, well playing games with and i think it needs a major cpu upgrade. I atm have an E2140 at stock clocks and an asus p5vd2-vm se or something like that and i really need to upgrade. The two parts i am looking at are:Asus M2A-MVPandPhenom 9600Basically, you guys think that this is a good idea? My budget is around 200 and this is the best i can get imo What do you think. oh and PLEASE honestly tell me how much this cpu will help my computer cuz i need to know like how much percent better.BIG need of help! *PC/PS3 owners especially welcomed*

Why not keep your current motherboard and get a fast core2duo?

Well if you need to buy a new motherboard then your no longer saving money are you,,,also the performance difference is not going to noticeable.

it sucks, it cant even run the core 2 duos i think. Like i mean the 5xxx, 7xxx or the 8xxx series. but if u could help me with this. the top one is the one i want to get with 2.8 ghz but the one in the list says that the 6300 is 1.86 ghz.....IF THE 2.8 were to wrk on mine i wouldnt go through with all this :)

If you go to the support site for your mobo isnt there a BIOS update to support the latest core2duo's?

they havent added in the 5xxx, 7xxx, or 8xxx series support, just checked right now

there wont be any difference from a dual core at 1.6 ghz to a quad at 2.3 ghz?:o ur kidding

lol anyone know where i can get an e4700 since that seems to be the highest clocked core 2 duo this crappy mobo can support :(
