Gaming Keyboard, Mouse, and Headset

I've heard numerous things about different brands, but I was wondering what are good entry level keyboards, mice, and headsets? I'm currently configuring a tower as we speak, shopping for parts and trying to hit sales. That I am ok with, but just curious about any recommendations?I mostly play FPS's, although I play some RTS and MMO style games with some third person action/adventure here and there. So I don't need anything with a billion keys on it. The mouse I would say would only need a few programmable/sensitivity buttons. Headset just needs good sound and mic quality that is comfortable and the mic actually reaches far enough (my current cheapie headset mic only goes to the side of my face :().Thanks in advance.Gaming Keyboard, Mouse, and Headset
If you're into FPS, you'll want surround sound (5.1 or 7.1), preferably true Dolby surround sound as opposed to virtual. For mice and keyboards I'd suggest Logitech as it is a reliable brand. For headsets some Razer ones are good and the Fatal1ty one is excellent. You'll probably want something like a Logitech G5 or a Razer Lachesis as a mouse. For keyboard I'd suggest a G11 or a G15. The keyboard isn't particularly important unless you want macros or ghosting. Good/cheaper mouses can either be the Razer Deathadder or the Logitech G5, but there are many many more mouses you may want to choose from depending on your budget and preference. I always find headsets to be... unsatisfying in terms of sound quality. I would personally recommend getting a Sennheiser HD 202 with the Zalman clip on mic for a cheap headset solution. If you want better headphones then go pick those out.
Or you can get a Sennheiser PC151 or the PC 161, all better than mainstream quality.
Well if you play competitive FPS like CSS for a team or just want to win, surround sound audio is crucial.
Razer makes awsome high quality products out of cheap crap. I have had headsets and mouse made by razor and the quality was astonishingly good until they literally fell apart in my hands less than a year after use. I had a Razer mouse which cost me $70 and the Razer Barracuda Headsets which cost $120. Both were awsome till they crapped out on me. I have a logitech g15 keyboard which I have had for a couple years. The only problem for me with the logitech mice is the fact I am left handed when it comes to using a mouse and the logitech mice are extremely awkward to use left handed.
