Is this good for my first barebone kit?

I'm not really experienced with computers at all when it comes to parts and assembling, but I thought I'd give it a go. And if you insist on getting that waste of money, you only need to replace the motherboard and obviously the CPU.
So spending that little bit more would make a huge difference you're saying? Cause' I woulden't mind that really if it helps out that much. I honestly don't know too much about computers besides how to use them (even then I'm pretty retarted). I'll show my friend this and see what he has to say. Is it just a watered down version of windows 7 you can use until the real one comes out in october? So, to that extent YES, more is a lot better.

the release candidate is windows 7. done, thats it. it's windows 7. if you get it, your effectively running a free trial though, and it shuts down on december 31st 2010.
