First of all let me tell you my laptop.. Its HP 2133 Mini Note PC.Basically what happened is that i spilled abit and what i mean by abit is just a teaspoon of water, but, i kept surfing the net and typing on MSN since nothing happend, just cleaned it with tissue. Suddenly, the keyboard started to act all weird so , i turned off the PC and turned it on again. Yes, it worked for abit then it went all weird again. So, i took the battery all off and left it upside down so the water would go out (Even though its a teaspoon of water that feel near the mouse touch pad and not the keyboard itself)So yeah, i then bring the hairdryer (stupid me) and blowed at the keyboard at high (for 1 - 2 minutes) then just left it there to dry for a few days (And also blowing the hairdryer on the keyboard at the lowest and abit far from it...from time to time) So, then i opened the laptop after leaving it for more then 3 - 4 days and well, the whole keyboard didn't work, after leaving i turned on for abit more...suddenly the keyboard worked but it typed all weird...its like the FN button was stuck or something because some of the alphabates typed in numbers and all that. So, i started the on screen keyboard and turned the FN button off, everything now works except for the scroll button, number 5 and 6 and a some of the F''type number here''.Now what im thinking is that the FN key is stuck or something because i still can't control if i want num lk or not, not only that but, what bothers me is that i have read online that people did way worse things when something spilled, yes i spilled a teaspoon of water only. I read people spilling juice, coffea, liqiour you name it.Im wondering, since the on screen keyboard types it, why can't the keyboard itself type? did it become a software problem? hardware problem? should i uninstall the keybaord itself from device manager? I have a 1 year warranty but im wanting to see if there is a way around this rather then taking the whole thing to them. Oh and i also connected a USB keyboard and even that worked when i wanted to type the things that didn't work.Sorry for the long read but, im hoping there will be a fix, some way, some how. Thank you for your time, people.Laptop problem! (quite a long read)
Well, anyone? :)
