Need advice on new PC monitor for my setup:

Well, I finally was given a choice to get me my new rig, (which is in the sig). While I know its not the best out there, its definitely a step up from my 6 year old laptop. I am now in the stages of looking for a new monitor for my setup. If I am getting this right, the size of the monitor depends on what resolutions you would like to play at, and also what resolution the GPU plays at. Right now, I am running x2 512MB GTS 250's in SLI. (Yes, I know, I know.) The thing is once the new 300 series cards are out, I am going to get the GTX 295. My question is, should I really be concerned with what size to get? I would preferably like to get at least a 22''. I found some cheap ones on newegg that support 1080p.
