23rd this months$400Performence should be the same or maybe a little bit better.It should be able to run these games fine, depending on how good the cpu issome ATI radeon 5870 questions.

US- Sept 22. UK - Sept 23.2. $3993. and 4. Nothing's for sure. Supposedly some Chinese site benchmarked it and it killed every single card out there, but in other cases they say its only 25-40% than ''the current generation''...whatever that means. Europe getting screwed over again :P
by thre looks of it, it has the same specs as the 4870 x2 and should perform faster then i since it doesnt have to deal with crossfire. There is also a benchmark going around that shows the 5870 beat the gtx 295 in crysis at 1900x1200 4xAA/16AF by 10 fps. it should performa faster then any top card we have out right now

Ati is pretty confident this time around
I read it's 450$ for the 2gig vram model which is the model I want :)

Think I am going to build an I5 rig in the upcoming months and re-use the 4670 I have right now waitng for the 300 nvidia series to come out so ATI cuts their prices on their next gen cards.
some guy who I was about to buy an HD4890 from said he got the new hd 5870s. This was on kijiji meaning that its for pickup so you cant cheat and he said the retail price is gonna be for $399 which i thnk almost everyone knows :P I was suprised at how he got it before the retailers did :P
