Hi i dont no how to put this properly but at the moment i have an ATI3870 HD X2 graphics card. Im upgrading this PC with windows 7 pro and new sound card and graphics card and giving this card to my brother. Im thinking of getting a nvidia card as said in the past that i do have slight problems with thiscard as ive been told that this card is a crossfire and my mother board is a sli and its the crossfire whats interfearing with the sli. Ido only have one card in though. The problem is that windows sometimes doesnt see the card and games sometimes quite on me. Im wanting to by an nvidia card because my chip set thingy on my mother board are nvidia based, i now alot of you said that it shouldnt make a difference with an ati on an nvidia motherboard but i just want to play it safe. So whts the bet nvidia card to get and also is that nvidia 3d vision any good. Thanks for any advice.updating sound card and g card. etc.
What are your other specs? Namely your CPU, RAM, and PSU.updating sound card and g card. etc.

And you'll have to excuse me, as I just woke up. =\ But I forgot to ask, what's your budget?
Windows vista 32bit with service pack2
There's your problem. Make sur you get a 64-bit W7 version.
depends realy on what i need. I was going to buy a new PC and was willing to pay up to around ?00 mark (including new monitor). But if i can get away with just updating a few things that be excellent. Yes the problem is my PC when it wants to it does work excellent but then all of a sudden its gets in a bod and slows right down and sometimes games quite. Also i was wondering if it was actualy vista it self what was the problem and format my pc and put windows 7 on be for doing anything?. Also im not sure whever to put the 64bit version of win7 on has people have told me that ive got to make sure that my system can handle 64bit versions. And in the solutions and problems when i try and do the search for solution some times windows says that my graphic card is not recgonized by this version of windows. Which is kind of strange and theres no solution. I have had this PC now 2 years.
