i've always been a playstation fan, and my computer is starting to decline. I'm interested in starting pc gaming, and i want to know if this is an alright computer.I dont have alot of money to spend, so i have to make do with what i have.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883229117new to computer gaming...
It's pretty good for a start-up. I have never herd of the company. If you have time and are strapped for cash, custom build computers would be the best choice. As for the computer you picked you probably could play most new games on high if not then medium for sure. I myself am a PS fan and building the computer wasn't that hardest part, but learning how to use mouse and keyboard instead of a controller. Eventually you get used yo it and it is fun.new to computer gaming...
the computer will be able to run most game currently out on the market, but don't expect superb graphics nor performance for that matter, since the GPU is a budget card, and the CPU is a bit iffy as well by today's standards.all-in-all though, i would NOT recommend buying that computer IF you do not decide to manually upgrade it in the future, e.g. replacing the GPU. If you are either unwilling or unable to replace the GPU in the future, then i suggest you just save up more money and wait a couple of months before buying a prebuilt rig.

Ok well what how much money do you have to spend cause I could possible suggest some parts for you to build one yourself (that's a little bit better and more reliable than the one you suggested).
umm, I just saw that PC, and I built a PC with a similar CPU, it was a athlon X2 945 at 2.9 ghz, I oced easily to 3.1. I also got a gigabyte board only with ddr3 ram and a 9800gt, idk if its a better card than the ati in urs, but it can run everything on high, plays all new games on high, my monitor res isnt very big so everything is good for gaming. anyway, I only paid $380 bucks for mine building it from new egg. I gotta say, my PC is not only better but less price, dont get that deal. Build ur own, then put a Phenom II in it and u are set for the future. You gotta look into how PC parts are compatible. I play alot of PS3 and I gotta say, I still like my PS3 better as a gaming device. lol. And I am not used to K%26M for controlls in all other games but counter strike source. Love the dualshock.

You like a controller more than keyboard %26 mouse for a fps? Okay...
Once you play cod 4, its so freakin awesome. Oh and the big game I cant get into and reason I made my own pc was tf2, hate controls for it, the aiming is better. but that was a real let down. Still love it on PS3, with no updates, yay, It need more maps though. I also enjoy racing games much better with controller. PC is really more for work/headshot in CSS.
